I was born and raised in Athens, Georgia where I was a working musician/entertainer. My wife, Donna, and I moved to Nashville so I could try my hand in the fickle Nashville music “mill.” Since Donna found success in her field of graphic design, we stayed in Nashville. Our daughter, Susanna, is finishing her studies at Lipscomb University and enjoying some early commercial success in her chosen field of animation. We joined DPC in 2005. You’ll find me most often tweaking our church’s sound system. I love sharing stories during the Children’s Message time. Other times you will find me working with the talented musicians at DPC in bluegrass and hand bells. If you don’t see me one Sunday, you will most likely find me down in Georgia doing my “Jimmy Buffett” thing –- they love it.
