I have chosen to walk and work, blessed by God’s grace, on the path God has revealed to me. I have found a path of service; I aim to faithfully serve God and hopefully bring God’s love to others.
I grew up in the Hudson Valley of New York State and have been a resident of the state of TN for 31 years. My professional background includes Social Work and Health Care Administration. While living in New York, I worked for the Commission on Aging as a Planner. After moving to Crossville TN, I served as the District Public Conservator for the TN Commission on Aging. Before moving to Nashville, I served as the Executive Director of Hospice of Cumberland County.
I was married 46 years to Rev. Cecil McFarland before his passing in 2014. We have one son, John, who is married to Amber, and they reside in Jacksonville, FL. We have three Grandchildren.
I am a recent new member of DPC, and I am currently a member of Dot New Circle, the Pastoral Care Committee, the Worship Committee and DPC Choir.
